This report represents the same grade group of students who tested with the Iowa Assessments from April 2013 through and including April 2016. During the 4 year span, some grades may have added students, or lost students depending on enrollment.

Example: the third grade report shows how students scored in 2013 through 2016 in English/ language arts (ELA), Math (M), and Science and Social Studies (C).

For instance; the third graders in 2013 scored a 4.0 grade equivalent in English / Language arts, a 3.7 grade equivalent in Math, and a 3.8 grade equivalent in science and social studies. The next year, as fourth graders, (2014) they scored 5.4 (ELA), 5.0 (M), and 5.1 (C).

Grade equivalents are only reported through 8th grade.

Iowa Assessments Charts for 9th-11th grade class from 2013-2016

Assessments for grades 9-11 are reported out. Seniors do not take the tests.

Results are shown using NPR, National Percentage Rank as a class. The report shows rankings’in ELA (English/ Language Arts) Math (M), and Composite for Science and Social Studies, (C ). NPR indicates how our 9-11th grade classes ranked percentage-wise compared to other same grade students in the nation at the given year(s) of assessment.

In looking at the chart for ninth grade in 2013, there were 9 students in the class. In ELA, 67% of the class scored in the 75% to 99% range. The following year (2014) in ELA, 88% of the class scored in the 75% to 99% range nationally. In Math, 56% scored in the 75%-99% range compared to other students in the nation.
